Competitor Entry Guidelines
Categories, Schedule and Registration fees
The rowing marathon is open to all water and ergometer rowers of any age, gender and condition.
There are two categories: individual and club.
Registration period: from January 1 to January 28, 2024.
Recommended registration fees: individual: 5€; club: 25€.
Proceeds will be used to provide academic support to children from underprivileged families and to give them the opportunity to practice the sport of rowing. Support the cause. If you can't register, but you want to be part of the movement, go ahead, row and send us your results, your participation in itself is already great support!
Rules
Sign up, row, photograph, submit, share.
Participants will be able to row as many times as they wish during the week of the rowing marathon (January 22-28, 2024) and will submit their results via email or Instagram.
The proof of the result should be a photograph of the ergometer display, the speed coach or the multisport watch monitor in rowing mode, if possible with the date.
Personal data and the result of the distance rowed shall be included in the subject of the message or in the file name as follows:
full name_club_distance rowed
Example: Marta García_Rowe Club_3625
If you do not belong to any club, this information will be omitted. Example: Marta García_3625.
Photos with results will be emailed to [email protected] or direct message to our Instagram account rowforaneducation.
This event is for a good cause. We trust in the fair play of all participants.
Support Us
In addition to rowing, there are other ways to support the cause. Collaborate by uploading the photo of your result to your social media with the mention "I @rowforaneducation" and we will proudly share it on our Instagram account. Help us spread the word, generate more interest, and make greater impact.
Awards
Winners in each category will receive the Row for an Education trophy, delivered by mail. In addition, the top 10 rowers will receive the ROWE 2024 wall calendar.
