I started in 2014 because I was asked to join a crew and got into a really cool training group.

Ed Maan, the coach of my first club. And Eelco Meenhorst, our head coach.

Win the World Championship this year.

You just learn.

Technically speaking, relaxed and strong.
What is the biggest challenge in your sport?
Winning Olympic gold.
What is the most important aspect of any training?
The most important thing is recovery after training. If you recover well, you can be better after every workout.
Do you have any rituals or hobbies before a competition?
Do a good warm-up.
What role has your upbringing played in your sports career?
It has changed my mentality a little bit and fills my schedule.
